Acknowledgements for the Blueprints for the Memory Village

N a Sonje Foundation is profoundly indebted to many people. This blueprint of the different sites on the designated land from the topographical study was finished just in time for our first public press conference in Haiti, December 18th 2002. They were drawn up by a group of Haitian architects dedicated to the vision. We want to especially thank Jean Robert Gardiniere for his patience, his own resources, many visits, time and vision that contributed to this beautifully hand-drawn blueprint done as a contribution to the Memory Village. There are several things still hidden from public view that will be a part of the village, when it's finished, come and see.... N a Sonje.

This work of art and inspiration for the slide show presentation was created by family of the larger N a Sonje family, Rick Bluntschli. In spite of his eye sight deterioration at the time, he was able to complete these drawings in order to give real life feeling, almost like flesh and blood to the dream. This is how it will happen, having a dream within a dream. We wish to acknowledge his gift to this dream through these life-like drawings that take the dream one step closer to becoming reality.
